Measure the wall, not the artwork. A good rule for a single piece above furniture is that the print occupies roughly two thirds of the width of whatever sits below it, hung so its centre is at eye level — about 57 to 60 inches from the floor.

Every product page carries a See it on your wall view: it places the artwork at true scale beside a standing figure, and it resizes as you change the size. Use it before you decide. When two sizes feel close, take the larger one — the regret runs one way.

They are three different temperaments, not three quality levels.

• Canvas absorbs light. Matte, textural, quiet — the closest to a painting, and the most forgiving in a room with lamps.
• Acrylic transmits light. Deep, glassy, luminous — it makes colour sing and suits contemporary interiors and strong daylight.
• HD Metal reflects light. Dye-sublimated into a high-gloss aluminium panel: brilliant, hard-edged, modern, and the most durable of the three.

If the work is calligraphic or painterly, Canvas. If it is saturated and graphic, Acrylic or HD Metal.

Closely, but not identically — and no honest printer will tell you otherwise. Your screen emits light; a print reflects it. Every monitor is calibrated differently, and phone screens in particular boost saturation.

The files are printed with pigment inks under a colour-managed workflow, so what arrives is faithful to the artwork as the artist approved it. Expect the print to read slightly deeper and more subtle than a bright screen.

A Mural is the artwork printed on removable self-adhesive vinyl and installed directly onto your wall — sized to the wall itself rather than chosen from a ladder of standard sizes. It arrives in strips 35 to 45 inches wide that overlap slightly for easy installation, and it lifts off later without damaging the wall.

Murals are priced by area, so the product page carries a calculator: enter your wall dimensions and it quotes the piece. Minimum order is 2 square feet, with each side at least 12 inches.

One difference matters: a Mural does not come with a Certificate of Authenticity, because it is an architectural application rather than an edition print.

Canvas. Giclée printing with pigment ink on premium fine-art matte canvas, 410 g/m², stretched by hand over 1.5-inch wood for a true gallery profile.

Acrylic. Printed on best-in-class 99.9% optically pure acrylic using the latest flatbed printing craftsmanship — a modern, luminous, premium finish, printed edge to edge.

HD Metal. Dye-sublimation into a ChromaLuxe high-gloss aluminium panel: extraordinary colour brilliance, superior durability, archival quality.

Mural. Premium 6 mil self-adhesive vinyl with a subtle linen-cotton canvas texture, printed with 10-colour technology — washable, repositionable, removable without wall damage.

Yes. Canvas arrives stretched on its wooden frame. Acrylic and HD Metal arrive with a floating frame and hanging wire already fitted to the back. Nothing needs to be taken to a framer before it goes on the wall.

Murals are the exception — they are applied to the wall rather than hung.

Longer than you will need it to. The canvas giclée process uses pigment inks designed to meet gallery and museum longevity standards, holding consistency of shade for 200 years. HD Metal is the most physically robust of the surfaces — dye-sublimation puts the image inside the panel coating rather than on top of it.

The one thing that shortens any print's life is direct, sustained sunlight. Hang out of the sun's direct path and the question never arises.

No. Nothing is held in stock. Each piece is produced after you order it, at the size and on the surface you chose, then finished and shipped. That is why there is no warehouse clearance and no discount cycle — there is no inventory to move.

Each artwork is released in a limited edition of 50. Once the edition closes, that work is not printed again — the image is retired rather than reissued in a new format or a new size.

A signed certificate that accompanies your print and records the artwork, the surface, the size and its place in the edition. It is the document that distinguishes an artist's edition print from a poster, and it is what an insurer or a future buyer will ask to see.

Every Canvas, Acrylic, HD Metal and framed print carries one. Murals do not.

Because every piece is made to order, production typically takes 4 to 7 working days, followed by 1 to 5 business days for delivery. Most orders arrive within 5 to 12 business days.

Larger formats, framed pieces and murals may take longer. You receive a dispatch confirmation with tracking when your artwork ships.

Shipping is free within Canada and the United States. We currently accept and ship orders only to these two countries.

Protectively, and in a way that suits the surface. Rigid pieces — Acrylic, HD Metal, framed prints — travel corner-protected in double-walled cartons. Canvas travels stretched and braced. Murals ship rolled.

If a carton arrives visibly damaged, photograph it before you open it. That photograph is the fastest route to a replacement.

Every order is covered by a 30-day quality guarantee. If your artwork arrives damaged, defective or incorrectly produced, contact the studio within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund.

This guarantee does not limit any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Then it is being replaced, and you are not paying for it twice. Write to the studio with your order number and photographs of the piece and its packaging, and a replacement is produced. Do not discard the packaging until it is resolved — the carrier may need to see it.

Only before it goes into production, and because production begins quickly, that window is short. Write immediately with your order number and it will be caught if it can be. Once a piece is being printed at your chosen size on your chosen surface, it cannot be redirected to another size or surface — it exists only because you ordered it.

No. Editions are limited, everything is made to order, and the price is the price. A work that is discounted three times a year was never worth its first number.

• Canvas. Dust with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Never use water, solvent or spray cleaner on the printed surface.
• Acrylic. A soft microfibre cloth, dry or barely damp. No ammonia, no glass cleaner, no paper towel — all three scratch acrylic.
• HD Metal. The most forgiving surface: a soft cloth, slightly damp if needed.
• Mural. Washable — wipe gently with a damp cloth.

For all four: keep out of direct sunlight, and avoid hanging above a working fireplace or in a room with sustained high humidity.

A kitchen, yes, away from the range. A bathroom with a shower in daily use, no — sustained humidity is hard on any framed or stretched work. HD Metal handles damp better than Canvas if you want to try.
